Good morning readers, earlier this week I chattered about places to go in Plant City, and I’ll be traversing about in April, so there will be more in-depth look into the places I mentioned. However, I wanted to see if there were any haunted places or sightings, I have some paranormal gear I’ve been itching to bust out. So let’s brew about it.
I’ve done some research on the area of Plant City and I thought if this place has been around since the 1800’s surely it’s haunted! It is NOT. Originally there was a native village and was named after said village, in which I’ve tried but I can’t for the life of me pronounce it, chepuckesassa. After some research I was quite stumped. You mean there hasn’t been anything happening and it’s all peachy? I feel there’s an underbelly story somewhere in here and I just haven’t done enough digging.
The reason why this little idea fairy popped in my head was when I drove by a cemetery and the lightbulb went off, what IF I’ve moved in an area where there was some activity?! Obviously that balloon popped as soon as it was inflated. However, there is a haunted trail, Sir Henry’s, which I have covered before and it is an amazing place. I met the owner and he is an awesome guy, very down to earth. Sir Henry’s is open this coming April 11th & 12th for their haunted ghost town and BBQ.
I definitely want to check out Sir Henry’s again because not only are they more local to me but they create a gruesomely amazing experience and have grown tremendously since last I been there. Not only are they opening more and more throughout the year, they in fact have a section for private events for media coverage. I practically rubbed my hands, but how do I get in? After reading the requirements, it states that you will need at least 4k minimum of subscribers or followers for a single platform or channel and If you have multiple, they require you have at least 2k.
I don’t think these are unfair numbers as you and Sir Henry’s are both profiting from the exposure and networking. So It seems I have a heading, and a goal this year. What do you think? Do you feel the numbers to be steep or fair? I think the exposure would be fantastic and practically kick start what you have and double it.
