Spring Has Sprung, and it’s Deadly!

Good morning readers, I’m coming to you with a fresh cup of coffee, this time there aren’t any kitties to keep me company, but none the less it is peaceful before the daily grind. You know how much I love the horror, thriller and slasher movies, but these kinds of movies are usually saved for the summer. But summer is so far far away, and I have to say I’m thankful for that because it gets fucking hot here and the humidity is no joke. Anyways, just like this year horror and thriller movies popped up at the beginning and it seems the film industry is seeing that their audience is craving these bad boys all year round, so let’s brew about what has sprung this spring!

There’s quite a few that are popping up like daisies this spring and like I did in January I picked a few (well four) that sounded interesting! We have The Death of a Unicorn, Drop, Sinners and Final Destination: Bloodlines. Okay, I’m a big Unicorn fan so I’m excited about this one because they are taking a delicate known mythical creature and giving it a darker edge with a humorous twist as well. Drop is about a woman who’s returning to the dating scene after mourning and is getting anonymous threats that they will kill her son if she doesn’t murder her date! I feel like I’ll be on the edge of my seat for this bad boy, because as much as my date may be Mr. Right, when it comes down to kids, pets and family members sorry buddy you gots ta’ go!

Now, Sinners, I think I’m most excited to see because, ONE, there’s vampires and TWO it takes place in New Orleans. I’m not sure if you guys know this but I love love love New orleans, I’ve been there the food, the vibe, the scenery is amazing! But over all you’re saying vampires in New Orleans set in the Jim Crow era of the South. The final movie I want to see makes my heart pitter patter with anxiety and excitement. It’s been a long time since the last Final Destination installment so I’m excited to see what Bloodlines has to offer not only for story purposes, but I wonder what new anxiety I’ll have now( still don’t drive behind a logging truck and my teeth still go on edge when using a food disposal.

BUT what do you think of my picks? Do you think I have a knack for picking some good ones? Do you think of any of these may flop?

As Always Keep On Brewin!
